Summary of the Training

The New York State Office of National and Community Service conducted training for all AmeriCorps Project Directors and fiscal representatives that work with their AmeriCorps program. This important event provided a comprehensive training on 2008-09 program and financial requirements of the AmeriCorps grant. Training sessions provided valuable information on existing AmeriCorps policies and procedures and also covered new issues such as the single match format, reporting program income, and the Commission’s new reporting system that all AmeriCorps programs will be using during the upcoming year. Approximately 100 staff people from over 40 AmeriCorps programs attended the training in New York.
